Can't Get This Outta My Head...

They're two, they're four, they're six, they're eight,
Shunting trucks and hauling freight,
Red and green and brown and blue,
They're the Really Useful Crew.

All with different roles to play,
'round Tidmouth sheds or far away,
Down the hills and 'round the bends,
Thomas and his friends.

Thomas! He's the cheeky one,
James! Is vain but lots of fun,
Percy! Pulls the mail on time,
Gordon! Thunders down the line,
Emily! Really knows her stuff,
Henry! Toots and huffs and puffs,
Edward! Wants to help and share,
Toby! Well let's say...he's square...

They're two, they're four, they're six, they're eight,
Shunting trucks and hauling freight,
Red and green and brown and blue,
They're the Really Useful Crew.

All with different roles to play,
'round Tidmouth sheds or far away,
Down the hills and 'round the bends,
Thomas and his friends...

Infected

I woke up this morning and found my right eye looking like this. *gasps*

Red, swollen, watery and extremely itchy. I also found traces of stringy yellow discharge. Eeewwwwww.

Went to see the GP and was prescribed with Piriton (to reduce the itchiness and put me to sleep) and given antibiotic eyedrops to apply in each eye, every 4 hours for the next 2 days. Was advised to stay home (woo hoooo!!) but he strictly reminded me to keep my eyes rested.

"No TV, no computers and no reading," he added. Cisss!!! Baru terpikir nak catch up on blog alerts.

So I'll make this post short and sweet.

I don't know how I managed to get the pink eye because I was mostly at home tweaking my new blog layout at efx2 last weekend. Aidiin wasn't feeling very well so we didn't schedule any family outings. I only stepped out of the house to hang laundry out to dry. Itu ajer.

My husband insisted that I have contracted blogotweakiopia. Whateverrrrr.

Na na na na na, G@nu kiter...

Due to the nursery's annual one week break, famyBoy decided to bring me and the kids along with him to P@ka last week. Actually kan, subconciously, I think I sorta insisted on us tagging along because I didn't want to be left alone at home with the kids (with him being so far away, that is). He's got work to do there and we needed a break after all the sicknesses the week before.

My whole life, I have never heard of a place called P@ka. Sungguh katak di bawah tempurung gitu. Naturally, I was as excited as the kids were about the trip.

Throughout the journey, Sofea kept asking me how long it'll be till we arrive at the hotel.

Ibu, why is it taking so long to reach Terengganu? Is it far like Johor?

Go to sleep lah, it'll make the journey shorter.

But I'd slept and woke up already. And we're still not there yet. Now I'm tired. How can I play at the beach if I am tired? How???

This Q&A session went on every hour or so. Tak larat nak layan.

We left Shah Alam at about noon and arrived in Kert3h about 5 and a half hours later. Despite the long car ride, it was quite a pleasant journey because the traffic was not too bad. And thanks to my father-in-law's big and comfy car (which he had graciously allowed us to borrow), nobody complained about the silauness or the heat.

5 days, 4 nights... the kids never had enough of the pool and the beach.

As for me, I was contented with the food. And my camera.

More pictures to be uploaded later into the Ganu album at multiply.com. Sekarang tengah malas sebab kekenyangan yang melampau from lunch... kerabu mangga and laksa tomyam yum yum yum.
